Mindfulness Practice

D2I integrates evidence-informed mindful practices to support leaders and teams in strengthening focus, emotional regulation, decision quality, and resilience under pressure. These practices are grounded in research from psychology, neuroscience, and organizational behavior, and are applied in ways that are practical, accessible, and aligned with workplace realities.

Rather than positioning mindfulness as a wellness add-on, D2I uses mindful practices as performance-support tools that help leaders:

- Regulate stress during high-stakes decision-making

- Improve attention, clarity, and cognitive flexibility

- Navigate difficult conversations with greater steadiness

- Reduce burnout and sustain leadership effectiveness over time

- Practices may include brief grounding exercises, attention training, body-based awareness, and reflection techniques that can be used in meetings, leadership transitions, coaching, and periods of organizational change.

When integrated with leadership development, coaching, and assessment-based insights, mindful practices help create the psychological safety and cognitive stability necessary for effective execution, collaboration, and innovation.

Assessment Tools:

Our diagnostic tools help leaders understand key drivers of performance and team effectiveness. These assessments are rigorous, validated, and used to build actionable strategies:

  • Leadership and Interpersonal Styles: Identify manager decision orientation and conflict approaches to improve team effectiveness

  • Team Diagnostics: Measure engagement, psychological safety, and performance barriers

  • Strengths and Capability Indicators: Highlight where leaders and teams can grow for higher execution quality

We leverage assessment data to design targeted development plans that tie directly to organizational outcomes — reducing turnover risks and improving manager quality over time.

ICS Inventory

The Intercultural Conflict Style (ICS®) Inventory is a research-based tool that helps individuals understand their preferred approach to navigating disagreement and conflict. It identifies how people tend to express disagreement and engage with emotional intensity during difficult conversations.

D2I uses the ICS to:

- Improve communication and decision-making under pressure

- Reduce conflict escalation and interpersonal breakdowns

- Strengthen manager capability in handling performance and feedback conversations

- Support teams working across differences in style, role, or function

By making conflict styles visible and predictable, the ICS supports more productive dialogue, faster resolution, and healthier team dynamics.

Intercultural Development Inventory(r) Qualified Administrator:

The Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI®) is a validated assessment that measures how individuals and organizations approach difference, perspective-taking, and cultural complexity. Rather than focusing on intent, the IDI identifies patterns in how people make sense of differences and how those patterns influence decision-making, communication, and collaboration.

D2I uses the IDI to help leaders and teams:

- Increase effectiveness in cross-functional and cross-cultural work

- Reduce misunderstandings that slow execution or escalate conflict

- Strengthen leadership adaptability in diverse and changing environments

Results are used to create targeted development plans that improve leadership judgment, team coordination, and organizational effectiveness.

GALLUP Clifton

Strength

finder Coach

Gallup CliftonStrengths® is a strengths-based assessment that identifies an individual’s natural patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving that contribute to high performance. Rather than focusing on deficits, the assessment highlights how people are most likely to add value and perform at their best.

D2I uses CliftonStrengths to:

- Improve role alignment and leadership effectiveness

- Strengthen team collaboration and productivity

- Reduce burnout by aligning work with natural talents

- Build shared language for performance and contribution

When integrated into leadership development and coaching, CliftonStrengths helps organizations leverage talent more intentionally, improving engagement, retention, and execution.

All assessments are used as development and decision-support tools, not evaluative or punitive measures, and are integrated into broader leadership and organizational strategies.
